Abstract
The title of this research is Increasing Writing Skill Through Chain Card Game to Tenth Grade Students at SMA I Peudawa Rayeuk Kabupaten Aceh Timur. The students of this school have low ability in writing. The writer found that they are difficult in arranging the sentence. This research was conducted to improve students ability in writing sentence by using Chain card game. The writer choose this technique because at the tenth grade, students should have knowledge about forms of sentences, therefore they will be able to understand the other integrated skill especially in reading text. Ther writer used Classroom Research, because she focused to improve one class of the tenth grade in SMA Peudawa Rayeuk. There are three cycles of in this research which had been done by using chain card game. The writer reported the result of the cycles by presented the score of the students reached and percentage the improvement in each of them.
