Abstract
The research aimed at investigating the students' experiences and response of using the Quizizz application in learning reading at SMP N 13 Langsa. The type of research was qualitative. The data were obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Interviews is question-and-answer sessions to find out student experience and response of using quizizz application in learning reading. Observations are carried out during learning using the Quizizz application takes place as well as documentation to strengthen research results. The result showed that students showed positive responses and positive experiences. Students enjoy using quizizz in learning to read because it is easy to use. It was observed that students did not experience any difficulties when using the quizziz application for reading lessons because all they had to do was enter the class code on the web provided by their teacher. The use of Quizizz application was very enjoyable in the learning process and it could help the students to improve their reading comprehension skill because there are clear and effective questions in the quizizz application. It can be interpreted that the Quizizz application apart from providing a positive influence because it can improve students' reading learning, after that the Quizizz application is suitable as a learning medium, because with the Quizizz application students not to watch because it has interesting features in the Quizizz application.
