Abstract

This thesis is about the influence of professional teacher on the students in English learning process. A professional teacher is someone who mastered his/her profession in term of both the ability and the attitude of teaching. The professional teachers have their own way to solve the case of learning process too faced by the students. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect and the influence of professional teacher on the learning process so that the students feel more interested and active to study English. The scope of study focus in the influencing of professional teacher to develop student intelligence in producing good and correct English. Because of this study is descriptive quantitative research, the writer just inform of the data collection based on interview, questionnaire and observation. To collect the data, the writer uses questionnaire that given to the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Seruway and one of professional English teacher through interview method. The result of this study shows that the students could be influenced by the professional teacher in studying English. It that professional teacher has the effects that can work to develop the students in studying English significantly and can improve the quality of learning. The writer hopes that the other teachers were as facilitator and a professional teacher to increase the spirit of live or become the motivation for students to learn English well.
