Abstract
The study focused on The Problems of developing Reading Skill Amongst The Student SMAN 1 Seuruway. Reading is typically an individual activity, although on occasion a person will read aloud for the benefit of other listener. Reading aloud for one own usem for better comprehension is a form of intrapersonal communication. The purpose of the study is to find out the students problems in developing reading skill at SMAN 1 Seuruway. This research used qualitative method and the writer administrated interview as the intrument of the research. The instrument was carried out to describe the problemof developing reading skill amongst the students.
