Abstract
Instruction as one of learning aspect is very important to understand in learning process. It is the total number of information on how to do something. Instruction is the crucial point that have to know in learning process as learning become effectively. The student will not know how to do subject if they do not what did the intruction, which instruction can be tell directly or indirectly. Direc method is one method in language teaching which is used orally to students. The content of it is including many points absolutly is intruction. In using direct method the teacher teaches student by using English full, to know anf to understand the material by using this method is the crucial for student. The problem of this thesis is students are not able to understand instruction by using direct method, the research questionis, is there any significant effect of using direct method on teaching English to students ability in understandingthe instruction.
