This research concerns to contrast two rules languages, Indonesian language as the source language and English language as the target language, and the limitation of problem is focused in contrasting between English and Indonesian. Adverbs in both grammar. The topic of this study is a contrastive of this “ A Contrastive Analysis of Adverbs Between English and Indonesian”. The objective of this research are to found out the similarities and differences between English and Indonesian and then to know where the position about them. In analyzing data the writer uses two techniques. There are descriptive and contrastive qualitative study as the methodology. The writer collected the data from books on Indonesian adverbs and identified them on every type of adverbs.
