The scope of languange which is studied in linguistics consist of two factors, there are internal and external factor. One of them for the internal factors is word. Morpheme is part of word, inflectional and derivational as part of morpheme. This research title is Students Ability in Determining Inflectional and Derivational Morpheme at Stain Zawiyah Cotkala Langsa. Inflectional and derivational Morpheme talk about inflectional and derivational form. To learn about this material , students have to know about the bound morpheme. Students do not only have to comprehend wahat inflectional and derivational are, But they also have to comprehend how to determine about it. Thus, students should comprehed it well. This research was knew the ability and difficulties of students in learning inflectional and derivational. The premier data was collected by using test-result of students which was to know students test result in detemining inflectional adn derivational.
