Abstract
This research was to figure out whether media wordwall improve in teaching vocabulary to the seventh grade students at SMP N 1 Manyak Payed. The subjects were the seventh grade students at class VII-1 this was consist of 27 students, 16 boys and 11 girls. This study used classroom action research and the data was analyzed quantitatively. The data collection were: observation and test. The result of the research showed that there is an improving students’ ability in vocabulary through media wordwall. It was success and it showed from observation and achievement test from each cycle. In the result of pre test in the first cycle the students who got passed score was 29,6%, the result of post test from cycle I the students who got passed score was 55,5% and in post test result from cycle II all of students that passed KKM (Minimum Standard of Mastery Learning). The mean of students’ test was better than the first cycle.
