Abstract
In teaching learning, applying a method or approach is very urgent. Verbal Linguistic Intelligence Approach is one of the approaches that can be applied in Teaching Vocabulary. Verbal Linguistic Intelligence Approach is “someone’s ability in using language and words orally or written, in many different ways to express ideas”. This research entitled “Developing Vocabulary Mastery through verbal linguistic intelligence approach toward second grade students of SMPN 6 Langsa” particularly, in this research, the researcher will analyze the students’ improvement in Vocabulary ability by using Verbal Linguistic Intelligence Approach. The object of the research is to find out whether teaching Vocabulary by using Verbal Linguistic Intelligence can improve students’ vocabularies ability. The significant for the researcher is to expand the knowledge in teaching vocabulary ways to get the students’ vocabulary ability. It is also hoped that it can be useful for the teacher who teach English as reference in teaching learning. The subjects of the research are the second grade students class VIII 1. The class consists of 23 students.
