Abstract

The Study aims to determine the perception of Islamic Education teachers (PAI) on the implementation of the curriculum 2013 in designing, implementing and evaluating PAI inatruction in High Schools (SMA) in Aceh. This study involves 175 PAI teachers selected through purposive sampling, simple random sampling and cluster sampling. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical inference in ANOVA and MANOVA analysis. The research focuses on three aspect : the demographics of PAI teachers, PAI tearchers’ perception of change and development of curriculum 2013, and teachers’ understanding of the elements PAI curriculum. The validity of instrument used which has 237 question items is 8.42, while the Alpha Cronbach realibility of the instrument on 233 items is 0.985.
