Abstract
This study aims to determine the perception of Islamic Education teachers (PAI) on the implementation of the curriculum 2013 in designing, implementing and evaluating PAI instruction in High Schools (SMA) in Aceh. This study uses a quantitative approach carried out in 104 schools using questionnaires and interviews. The study involves 175 PAI teachers selected through purposive sampling, simple random sampling and cluster sampling. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistics and statistical inference in ANOVA and MANOVA analysis. The research focuses on three aspects: the demographics of PAI teachers, PAI teachers’ perception of change and development of curriculum 2013, and teachers' understanding of the elements PAI curriculum. The validity of instrument used which has 237 question items is 8.42, while the Alpha Cronbach reliability of the instrument on 233 items is 0.985.
