Abstract
Buying and selling is an agreement to exchange objects or item that have a voluntary value between the two sides, one receives objects and the other party accepts them in accordance with the agreement or provision that has been justified by Syara’ and agreed. Communication technology changes very quickly and globalizing has provided convenience and opportunities to the public, especially the students in terms of shopping online. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of online buying and selling and buying and selling directly on buying interest of students of the Islamic Economics and Business Faculty of IAIN Langsa partially and simultaneously. The type of research used is associative with a quantitative approach, where testing is done using a classical assumption test, multiple regression test, F test and t test. The population in this research is the entire student force 2017 FEBI amounting to 454 students. While the sample in this research is 82 students. The results showed that the variable online buying and selling partially (t test) had a positive and significant effect on the buying interest of FEBI students and obtained tcount (5.654)> ttable (1.990) with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05. And direct partial buying and selling (t test) also has a significant positive effect on the buying interest of FEBI students with the results of tcount (5,144)> ttable (1,990) and a significance value of 0,000 <0,05. Then simultaneously (test F) the variables of buying and selling online and buying and selling directly have a significant positive effect on the buying interest of FEBI students by obtaining Fcount (71,393)> Ftable (3,11) with a significance value of 0,000 <0,05. It can be concluded that the variables of online buying and selling and direct buying and selling have a significant influence on the buying interest of the students of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business of IAIN Langsa.
