The problem in this research was the low of students’ concentration and the impact from method of teaching in learning design that teacher applied in the classroom. The researcher was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Langsa. The objective of the study is to find out whether learning design of the teacher influences on students’ concentration or not. The data which were needed in this thesis were obtained by conducting an qualitative research, the researcher used observation and interview to get the data. The questions of interview took from types of students’ concentration and about teachers’ method of teaching. According to the interviewee, the result that researcher got learning design highly influence students’ concentration. Depend on the research, the researcher concluded (1) The concentration level at SMP Negeri 3 Langsa was good (2) Teaching method was used mostly by teacher was lecturing method (3) learning design was not only the one parts of things that could make student concentration. However teacher was still the important one in the class, the students was teachers’ representation.
