Abstract

Aesop’s fables is one of compose the best-know collection of fables in the world. Fable is a simple story that incorporates characters-typically animals-whose actions teach a moral lesson or universal truth, Moral values are the focus in this thesis. The obkectives of the reserch entitled The Moral Values in Ten Aesop’s Fables is ti find out the moral values in Aesops fables. This tesis is written to analyze the moral values which found in selected Aesops fables that are: The Hare and The Tortoise, The Dog, The cock and The Fox, The Crow and The Pitcher, The Peacock and The Crane, The Ass and The Load of Salt, The Lion and The Mouse, The Shepherd Boy and The Wolf, The Mother and The Wolf, The Dog and His Reflection and the last The Sheperd and The Lion. The writer use qualitative descriptive method in this thesis.
